What is this movement about?
The movement is about bringing geopolitical changes and creating a just social and economic order across the globe, where people of the world may unite against the forces, which create divisions, ignorance, wars and conflicts by manipulating differences of races, beliefs, cultures and backgrounds. It takes distance from the monopoly and hegemony of a handful of nations and people from one part of the world over the majority of humanity on the globe, find contradictions in the representations of the majority by a power-hungry small group of politicians who rule the nations, and sees ignorance and lack of awareness and education about the enlightened path of universalism as a great hindrance to peace and harmony on Earth. This movement considers the present world-order built around the United nations as inadequate and inept to address the rights and well-beings of all of humanity. The GEM addresses primarily the questions of visions and values, which may unite humanity under one social-order which may guarantee dignity, safety, and security of all human life in the similar way. It dreams of creating an Enlightened Social-order where the age-old methods of ruling by using the power of wealth and arms would have no place. Thus it wishes to promote vision and values which would bring humanity towards a higher-path of social evolution.
The movement is based on the understanding of the cosmos, realization of the self, and views about the meaning of life on Earth. It fully recognizes the knowledge of science and at the same time it remains equally cognizant of the reality of existence, which may fall outside the methods of the scrutiny of science. It professes the existence of God as one with all living and non-living beings, as well as someone who can not be seen or known by the mortal eyes and mind. It recognizes universe as a purposeful and profound creation, where everything in it are inseparably tied as one in the whole where one`s destiny remains inseparable from the destiny of all other beings. Love and compassion is professed as the best way to connect to the whole, and thus find meaning of life while interacting with the fellow beings.
GEM seeks to educate, inform and make fellow beings aware of the profound nature of the life in the universe and wishes to guide those who desire to connect to the higher nature of reality of existence and the self, and seek to follow an enlightened-path. It aspires to teach methods of communications based on the innate creative power in the individuals so that one may be able to communicate the visions of the enlightened world through works of arts, music, poetry and songs among others.
GEM is open to all individuals and groups who may share the elevated ideas and visions of the movement and wish to contribute in building a new social-order based on universal values and vision of the cosmic nature of man.
AIMS
Its main aims are
- To educate. inform and make aware those who are seeking a higher-path of living and willing to build a social-order which is in harmony with the cosmic order and the harmonies of the living and non-living creations on Earth.
- To implant knowledge and perspectives to understand one`s own reality of existence and guide the way to connect to the reality which may bring meaning to one`s life.
- To open up new realms of the mind and inspire people to explore one`s abilities to communicate in languages other than languages of daily life revolving around survival and biological needs.
- To guide people to connect to the creative power of the mind in order to communicate the inner realm to others in the forms of visual arts, music, songs and poems etc.
- To help and give advise about the ways one may engage and build networks with like-minded people in order to spread the vision and ideas of the movement.
- To secure understandings so that one may take initiatives to counteract developments in the society detrimental to the higher evolution of man.
- To secure understanding of science which may remove ignorance which may hinder the growth of higher human civilization
- To remove misunderstanding of science and secure the values of human life against the onslaught of the technological ideas of the robotic mechanization of life and the ascendancy of the global market power and its values over spiritual life.
- To establish the higher spiritual man at the apex of a new civilization where science will open the “windows of light”.

HOW HAS IT STARTED
It has sprung from the ideas and visions of Dr. Anup Rej, a physicist-philosopher-artist-and poet . The vision is coloured by his understanding of the greater cosmos and based on wide experiences of people and culture he has met during his stay in different parts of the world. Starting from the fundamental questions of the body and mind and their relationship to the cosmos, he has built an understanding of universal values and higher path of social evolution, which has inspired him to formulate the ideas of an enlightened social order. He believes that his knowledge in science, experiences from different cultures, personal experiences as a mystic, and ideas unifying cosmic vision with universal values may inspire people, who are seeking changes in the present state of affairs of the world, to come together to create a movement that may build foundation of a more evolved economic and political order and universal culture on Earth. Presently he lives in Oslo. Anup Rej has built a cultural retreat by Sognefjord in Western Norway, where he would like to invite people to come together to develop ideas and strategies of building a better society. WHO WE WISH TO REACH?
Anup Rej is in the process of forming a group who would like to build contacts with philosophers, artists, musicians, writers and creative personalities as well as those who seek changes in social order which are based on universal values and visions of unity of mankind. The group also seeks partnership with educational and humanitarian organizations and the civil society working on the issues of democracy and human rights.
